Q. Who is Family Tree Originals?

 Family Tree Originals is an importer of fine authentic personalized commemorative Delft plates and tiles that are sold directly through Family Tree Originals. Family Tree Originals is a registered trademark that owns all of the exclusive rights for its designs and manufacturing. Our products and designs cannot be copied, reproduced, or manufactured without our written permission or authorization.

Q. What products do you offer?

 We offer Delft personalized Birth Plates in standard Delft blue and the multicolored Birth Plate. Also available is a 5 ¾" square Delft blue or multicolored birth tile. We also offer a Delft personalized Wedding or Anniversary plate which only comes in Delft blue. 

Q. Where are the plates manufactured and are they genuine Delftware?
A.
 All plates and tiles are genuine Delftware and completely manufactured and personalized by Dutch artists by hand from an old and respected manufacture in Schoonhoven, Holland.

Q. Can I order a Birth Plate / Tile for an older child or an adult?
A.
 Yes! You are never too old to receive a Delft Birth Plate or tile.

Q. How are your products shipped and where can I have them shipped to?
A.
 Our plates and tiles are carefully packed to prevent damage and are shipped by standard mail. Shipping and handling are included in the purchase price. If the item is a gift it can be shipped directly to that person. Plates and tiles can be shipped to just about anywhere in the world at no extra charge.

Q. How long will it take to receive my plate/tile?
A.
 Approximately 8 weeks from the time your order is received by our company.

Q. How long does it take to receive a gift certificate?
A.
 We only have gift certificates for our Birth Plates. The gift certificates are mailed within 2 days after we receive your order, they should arrive in about 5-10 days. Please allow more time if shipping outside of the United States. Gift Certificates can also be sent by express mail with an additional charge, upon request.

Q. What if I receive a plate or tile and there is a mistake or it is damaged?
A.
 If the painter in Holland makes a mistake on the plate/tile or if it arrives damaged, it will be replaced at no cost. If the customer makes a mistake on the order form, the plate will need to be reordered and the customer will have to pay to have a new plate manufactured. All plates are personalized on the raw bisque and then glazed and fired that cannot be changed.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A.
 Required by law you have 3 days to cancel an order. Once your order has been sent to Holland there are NO REFUNDS.
